![]() ![]() This dining room, while beautiful, does nothing to absorb ambient sound. Our entrees were served piping hot and could have fed two people per entree: chicken piccata, chicken parmigiana, linguini with clams, and a chicken Murphy-style dish with sausage-all yum! We would have liked to stay for coffee and dessert, but we could not hear ourselves. The focaccia appetizer (on the house) was warm, fresh, and had a tasty roasted tomato sauce on top. All menu items were spot on! Arugula salad had a lovely lemon dressing that I wanted to sop up with bread. Our waiter was eager to please and mentioned that the chef could adjust menu items to our liking (e.g., with/without clams or mussels, etc.). I recently dined here with my husband and another couple. Special thanks to our server Maria for a great dinner service. I had the pistachio ice cream tartufo which was good. Finished up with coffee, after dinner drinks & desserts for some. The steak was cooked nicely, topped with onion rings and a somewhat spicy sauce, mashed potatoes & asparagus complimented the steak.Osso Buco, a seafood special ( lobster tail, shrimp etc ) and a shrimp with crab meat special were ordered & enjoyed by my wife & family. I had the T Bone steak special, preceded by the pasta fagioli. Appetizers, main courses ordered, all very good. Our server offered all of the day's specials & we relaxed for a few minutes before ordering. ![]() Drink orders were taken, water glasses were filled & freshly baked bread and a plate filled with freshly made focacia. By 6 PM there was not an empty table in the dining room. ![]() We arrived for our 5:45 PM reservation and the place was empty. It is a busy restaurant so be sure to make a reservation. It was my 1st visit and I truly enjoyed the food & atmosphere. ![]() Evening out spent dining at Villa Amalfi, party of 4. ![]()
